Michiel de Graaf wins Einthoven prize 2017

Michiel de Graaf (LUMC) won the Einthoven Dissertation Prize 2017 with his thesis "Computed tomography coronary angiography: From quantification of coronary atherosclerosis to risk stratification of patients"

Out of 19 thesis submitted for the einthoven Dissertation Prize 2017 the jury selected 3 to present during the spring congress of the NVVC:

The three candidates presented their work in a session chaired by Barbara Mulder (NVVC) and Jan Weijers (Netherlands Heart Institute). The members of the NVVC voted after the presentations.

Michiel de Graaf took away the first prize of €5,000. Romy Franken ended second and was awarded a grant of €3,000. Lourens Robbers took home the third prize of €2,000. Congratulations to all three on their prize and their excellent scientific work.
