Poster Prizes 1st Translational Research Meeting

During the 1st Translational Research Meeting of the Netherlands Heart Institute poster prizes were awarded to Maike Schuldt, Christina Altrocchi and Jens van der Wouw. Krystien Lieve won the public vote for the best poster.

Of almost 40 posters presented during the 1st Translational Research Meeting of the Netherlands Heart Institute a jury consisting of Stephane Heijmans, Jolanda van der Velden, Nico de Jong, Barbara Mulder and Dominique de Kleijn awarded poster prizes to three young talents. Stephane Heijmans presented the prizes in the final plenary session of the Congress:

The winners can spend the prizes on personal development, for example a training course, attending a congress or study materials.

In a public vote, Krystien Lieve won the public prize, a book token of €50.

It was a difficult job for the jury and a close call between many good posters presenting high quality, original scientific work.

Jens van der Wouw
